Stealth Camera FAQs and Tips
How do I program my stealth cam?
Place the camera in the test mode, then use the P button to set number of pictures taken per activation, and use the MD (Minute Down) & MU (Minute Up) buttons to set the time between photo activations.
How can I manually rewind my stealth cam?
Set the camera to the test mode, then press and hold the R button until the film is rewound.
What is the standby mode for on my stealth cam?
Standby mode saves the programming you've set on your Stealth Cam. Place the camera in standby mode when you've set the programming but aren't ready to put the camera in operation yet. Also use standby when relocating your loaded camera from one location to another.
What is the effective range of the Passive Infrared sensor (PIR) on my stealth cam?
The PIR has an effective range of 0-15' with the sensitivity switch in the near setting or 0-30' with the sensitivity switch in the far position.
Why isn't the time or date printing on the film?
If the time stamp isn't printed on the film the most likely cause is that the lithium battery is low and needs to be replaced.

TIPS
Never turn the camera off while it is loaded with film. Use standby mode to preserve camera settings and memory.
Avoid mounting the camera facing directly east or west. The rising and setting of the sun could cause a false detection.
Mount the camera between 4-6 feet off the ground on a stable object.
Two or three pictures per motion detection is the recommended setting.
Use quality 400 speed film for better nighttime pictures.
Use only alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
When used on a game trail place the camera about five feet from, and perpendicular to the trail.
Always take advantage of the Stealth Cam's test mode to ensure that your camera placement is accurate.
Remember to switch the camera to the "ON" position when ready to use.
